Lavinia Marshall was born to be a leader. The eldest of four children, leadership came quite naturally for the Cincinnati, Ohio native. However, she grew up with the odds gravely stacked against her—born to a single-parent mother in the urban inner-city. Lavinia overcame those and several other seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Determined and steadfast with a vision for life, faith in God, and a strong work ethic, Lavinia became the first member of her family to graduate from college. She earned a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati, where she was a Minority Scholar. She is a graduate of Emory’s Candler School of Theology where she received a Master of Theological Studies. She earned two certificates: Religious Education and Women in Theology and Ministry. Lavinia continues to lead and set the pace; while along the way, encouraging and inspiring others throughout her journey.
Lavinia Marshall is president and founder of Totally You. Lavinia has a history of serving women and teens. She has ministered, mentored, and inspired others for over twenty years. She has served in Women's Minisrty at the Father's House Church, as the President of “The Atlanta Women’s Fellowship”, President of the Board of Directors of River of Life Church Ladies’ Ministry, and River Of Life Church Youth Pastor. She started Totally You because she believes that far too many people are simply going through the motions of life without finding personal fulfillment or God’s will for their lives. “Many people’s cups are full but not fulfilled—they are alive, but not truly living” says Lavinia. However, she believes with passion for your purpose , vision, and faith we all can live the lives our hearts desire.
Lavinia is an excellent teacher, speaker, and preacher who is inspired by the Holy Spirit. She will speak a "right now word", a revelation from God. She promotes spiritual growth through communion with God. Motivated by compassion, she prays with and guides others into a deeper understanding of self and God. She has a passion to see others set free by the power of God, so that they can live life full of joy!
Lavinia Marshall is also passionate about creative expression through the arts. She believes there is a sense of freedom when one can express their love towards God. She has been the Dance Director at the Father's House Church and River m of Life Family Church. Marshall is the Founder and President of Expressions Dance Ministry, a transformative worship dance troupe that is devoted to ministering freedom, healing, and deliverance while invoking the presence of God.
Currently, Lavinia resides in Duluth, Georgia, and is happily married to her husband of twenty three years. They are blessed and have the privilege of nurturing two lovely young ladies.
